Five characteristics of quartz


Quartz is a mineral that easily becomes liquid when heated or pressurized, and is a fairly common rock-forming mineral. The main component of quartz is silica, glass luster, and microcrystalline quartz is called chalcedony, agate or jasper. Pure quartz is colorless, but presents different colors due to impurities that often contain transition elements.

Quartz has the following characteristics:

Scratch
Quartz has a quartz content of up to 94%. Quartz crystal is the natural mineral with hardness second only to diamond in nature. Its surface hardness can be as high as 7.5 Mohs hardness, which is much larger than the sharpener used in the kitchen hurt.

No pollution
Quartz is a compact, non-porous composite material made under vacuum conditions. Its quartz surface has good corrosion resistance to the acid and alkali of the kitchen. The liquid substances used in daily use will not penetrate into the interior and will be placed on the surface for a long time. The liquid can be wiped off with a cloth such as water or a clean and bright detergent, and if necessary, the blade can be used to scrape off the surface retentate.

Not old
The lustrous surface of quartz is more than 30 complicated polishing processes, which will not be scratched by the shovel, will not penetrate liquid substances, and will not cause yellowing and discoloration. Daily cleaning only needs to be rinsed with water. It’s easy and simple. Even after a long period of use, the surface is as bright as the new countertop, requiring no maintenance.

Refractory
Natural quartz crystal is a typical refractory material. Its melting point is up to 1300 degrees. 94% quartz made of natural quartz is completely flame retardant. It will not burn due to contact with high temperature. It also has high temperature resistance which is unmatched by artificial stone and other countertops characteristic.

Non-toxic and non-radiative
The surface of the quartz is smooth, smooth and scratch-free, and the dense and non-porous material structure makes the bacteria have nowhere to hide and can be in direct contact with food.
